DESCRIPTION:Park run Worldwide organise free\, weekly\, 5km timed runs around the world. They are open to everyone\, free\, and are safe and easy to take part in. \nThese events take place in pleasant parkland surroundings and we encourage people of every ability to take part; from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians; from juniors to those with more experience; we welcome you all. \nWhat is Westport parkrun?\nIt is a 5km run – it’s you against the clock. \nWhen is it?\nEvery Saturday at 9:30am. \nWhere is it?\nIt’s run at Greenway Path\, Westport. See febsite for more details. \nWhat does it cost to join in?\nNothing – it’s free! but please register with parkrun before your first run. Only ever register with parkrun once. Don’t forget to bring a printed copy of your barcode. If you forget it\, you won’t get a time. \nHow fast do I have to be?\nWe all run for our own enjoyment.
