DESCRIPTION:Halloween Fest 2016 at Westport House\n \nFrightening fun for all the family at Hallowe’en Fest! \nGet ready for ghastly ghouls\, jumping Jack O’Lanterns and hair-raising hocus pocus. The annual Hallowe’en Fest at Westport House is bringing back the black cats and broomsticks for a fangtastic fright fest from October 29 to 31\, from 10am to 6pm daily.  \nWatch as the House is transformed with webs\, wizards and witchcraft – it’s guaranteed to rival even the latest Harry Potter novel! \nIndulge your little ones in fun and games\, workshops and activities inside the devilishly decorated Westport House. Listen to the wily white witch’s spirited story time\, play musical statues at our daily kiddies’ disco\, delve into the Spooky Spoons workshop with repulsive recipes made from bat wings and the eyes of toads\, and craft a Jack O’Lantern to bring home for the holiday. \nIf that’s not enough to get their knees knocking\, get them busting some zombie moves! Back by popular demand is our ‘Thriller’ dance workshop\, where your little monsters can learn all the moves from Michael Jackson’s legendary “Thriller” music video in the formal Large Dining Room of Westport House. \nOutside and on the front lawn of Westport House\, you’re invited to try the colourful Carnival Rides & Games as well as the Westport Train Tour! \nPLEASE NOTE THAT THE PIRATE ADVENTURE PARK WILL BE CLOSED FOR THE DURATION OF HALLOWEEN FEST AND OCTOBER MID-TERM BREAK.  \nJoin all the fun at Hallowe’en Fest and come dressed in your best creepy costume\, but be sure to dress for mess if you’re taking part in the Jack O’Lantern or Spooky Spoons workshops which are very hands-on! \n  \nOpening Times\nHallowe’en Fest at Westport House\, the Westport Train Tour and the Carnival on the Front Lawn is open for the October Bank Holiday Weekend (October 29th to 31st inclusive) from 10am to 6pm. The Pirate Adventure Park is CLOSED. \nFor the remainder of the October mid-term break – from November 1st to 6th inclusive – we are open for you to enjoy the Carnival\, Westport Train Tour and a visit to Westport House. Please note that the workshops and Halloween activities will not take place after Halloween. \nHow much does it cost and how do I buy ticket?\n\nTickets to Halloween Fest cost €10 per person and include:\nAdmission to the Haunted House\nFace-painting\nStorytime with the White Witch\nSpooky Spoons Workshop\nThriller Dance Workshop and Moving Statues Disco\n\nPlease note that participation in the Jack O’Lantern Carving costs €3 per pumpkin. \nCarnival Rides and Games are priced additionally at €3 per person per turn. \nThe Westport Train Tour is ticketed separately from Halloween Fest at €9 for adults\, €5 for children\, €7.50 for seniors\, €22 for a family of four and €28 for a family of six. \n2016 Members receive a discounted entrance fee of €5 for children while adults go free!  Simply present your membership card and photo ID on the day of your visit to secure the discount. \nGet more information or buy your Hallowe’en Fest tickets online in advance @ Westport House.  \n  \n  \n  \n
