DESCRIPTION:Cancelled Due to Covid-19 \n\nWestport Gran Fondo is taking place on Saturday 25th April with 2 exceptional routes catering for those who would like to Race Like a Pro (Gran Fondo 126km) or taking in the breath taking scenery on a leisure cycle & give it a go (Medio Fondo 76km) with your friends. Both events are chipped timed with winner‘s jersey’s up for grabs. \nWith 2 routes to choose from\, you can race like a pro or just take it slow… you decide! \nGran Fondo:\n126km – Difficult terrain which includes the iconic Sheffry climb and the beauty of Glassilaun and Tully Cross. \nMedio Fondo:\n76km – Moderate terrain which includes the stunning Aasleagh Falls and the iconic Sheffry climb. \nThe home of the Westport Gran Fondo Weekend is the Westport Plaza & Castlecourt Hotel which are located in the heart of Westport town and close to bars\, pubs and shops. Featuring 2 luxurious 4 star hotels\, a choice of bars\, restaurants\, leisure centre and Spa Sula\, it is the only place to stay for the Westport Gran Fondo Weekend. The event is organised by the hotels and this is where the race will start. Our sister hotel the Westport Coast also offers competitive rates for the weekend. \nEarly Bird Entry Fee  €49.00. \n\n\n
