SUMMARY:Sea 2 Summit Adventure Race 2019
DESCRIPTION:Westport Sea 2 Summit takes place on Saturday 9th November. The adventure race is celebrating 10 years this year and is a unique event based in the adventure capital of Ireland\, Westport. The race incorporates all the thrills that Westport has to offer; Croagh Patrick\, Clew Bay\, the Sheaffry Mountains and the new Greenway. \nWestport Sea2Summit is organised and run by the Westport Plaza & Castlecourt Hotel Resort under the guidance of Race Director\, Paul O ‘Brien of Boot Camp West. \nThere will be two separate races with three categories in both\, which will include a mix of road running\, cycling\, and a mountain hike. \nThe Sea2Summit Spirit caters for the participant that wants a challenge but has not taken part in adventure racing before. Duration time for the fastest will be 2.5 – 3hrs. \nThe Sea2Summit Supreme is for the participant who wants an extra challenge. The hike up and down the front face of Croagh Patrick (Murrisk) will hurt the legs and the back-breaking ramps at the Maum climb will definitely test your bike and quad muscles. \nDuration time for the elite athletes will be around 3.5hrs. \nIn these two races\, there are 3 categories to choose from:\nAdvanced\nIntermediate\nBeginner \nFind out more at www.westportsea2summit.ie \n
