Fellow violin player\, Dublin born\nCiara Brennan is also a keen singer-songwriter\, and she has won all-Ireland titles in violin\, solo\nsinging and the not-so-common art of lilting. UK multi-instrumentist Chris principally plays\ntraditional flutes and whistles and the cittern and the bouzouki\, but he is also a dab hand at\nother instruments\, including the bodhran\, the mandolin and the didgeridoo.\nThe gig in Matt Molloy’s will feature compositions by Maurice and by Ciara and Chris\, along with\nmusic from the Irish\, Swedish and the Northern English folk traditions.\n• The gig starts at 8 pm\, and tickets will be available on the door. \n
