DESCRIPTION:Cycle the Great Western Greenway Trail with Christian Aid. \nJoin in on the world renowned scenic trail in the west of Ireland. Explore\, have fun and raise funds to help fight global poverty. \n  \n \nLocation: Great Western Greenway Trail\, Newport\, County Mayo \nDistance: 31km/ 20miles cycle route from Newport to Achill \n  \nRegistration fee: €30 /£30 (adult); €60 /£60 (family of 4); €10 /£10 (child) \nThe Cycle\nHelp fight poverty by taking part in Christian Aid’s Great Western Greenway Charity Cycle. The family friendly route follows the cycle trail of the Great Western Greenway\, in beautiful County Mayo. \nThe Nephin Beg Mountains and Clew Bay scenery make this one of the most beautiful cycle trails in Ireland. \nHalf way through there will be a rest stop at Mulranny (approximately 2pm) and the cycle will finish at Achill at 4pm\, where there will be a reception and light refreshments for all cyclists. \nAll participants will be provided with Christian Aid T-shirts to wear on the day\, sponsorship forms\, water and back-up support on the day. \n‘We are looking forward to many people coming along on 14 June to explore the beauty of this area\, have fun\, and raise funds for to help fight poverty\,’ Andrew Coleman\, Christian Aid Area Co-ordinator. \nRegistration:\nPlease download and complete the registration form.
