DESCRIPTION:\n\n2016 Westport Sprint Triathlon\nWe are getting ready to welcome you to Westport on Saturday the 11th of June to our Triathlon Ireland National Series race! There is a lot of interest in the event this year and we expect it to sell out in advance so we advise signing up early if you want to secure a place. \nEvent date: 11th June \nEvent location: Westport\, Co. Mayo \nEvent price: Junior €30/Individual €47.50/Team €60 \nEvent type/distance: Sprint (750m swim\, 20k cycle\, 5k run) \nThe course \n\nThe 750 M swim is a loop in the sheltered bay at the Quay in Westport.\nThe 20 Km cycle out and back along the coast road throught the picturesqe village of Murrisk to Croagh Patrick taking in the stunning views of Clew bay on the way!\nFinishing off with a 5 Km run thought the closed roads and scenic grounds of the jewel of Westport\, Westport House and Estate.\n\nWho can enter?\nYou can enter as an individual or as part of a team. \nIndividual entry\nAll competitors must have a Triathlon Ireland license or if you don’t have a license youmust get a 1 day license for the race which is done before the race through the Triathlon Ireland website here. \nWhy do I need a one day license? \nBy taking out a one license you will get both third party and personal accident cover while racing. \nTeam entry\nIf you are entering as a team\, you will need a swimmer\, a cyclist and a runner. \nNot everybody on a team needs to have a Triathlon Ireland license\, but one person must have. \nWhat you get for your money!\nWe are one of the lowest cost triathlons in the country and we strive to deliver the best value for our competitors.\nYour entry fee includes: \n\nA safe and efficient Triathlon Ireland Assured Event\nThirdParty and Personal Accident Cover\nBlue Flag Swimming Area\nPost Event Hot Showers\nPost Event Hot Meal\nEvent Goody Bag\nEvent Medal\nAge group and team prizes\nGuidance and support from the friendliest marshals in the universe (known).\nUndeniable bragging rights\n\nBy entering our race you help Westport Triathlon Club\nThe Westport Triathlon is ran by Westport Triathlon Club members.
